Next stop: Stockholm
Well, I’m back on the road again – this time heading off for a week in Sweden, of all places. Stockholm, here I come! This is another work trip – I’m leading a global summit on “casual sellers” and most of our european counterparts are flying in as well.
I’ve never been to Sweden before, so I’m rather interested to see how it is – I hear that Stockholm is quite a nice city, particularly if you enjoy the water. Apparently one of the things they do to impress important foreign visitors is to go down to the local lake, dip a glass in, and drink the water! Evidently it’s *just that pure.* We’ll see – I’m not sure I’m going to try it. Ironically the travel guide I read, after stating this amusing fact, then also sought to assure its readers that Evian and Pellegrino were also heavily imported. I’m sure I’ll see a lot of Volvos and will have to swing by an Ikea at some point…!
My flight leaves in about 30 minutes, and I fly in via Amsterdam… should be there in about 16 hours, landing Tuesday around 5pm local time. I’ll post some photos when I get a chance!
